About the Job:
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for medical, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, interns or residents assigned for training at Tsehootsooi Medical Center.
- Serves as a consultant to other medical staff regarding complicated internal medicine and/or obstetric patients and/or pediatric patients based on specialty training.
- Provides definitive management in all medical categories or cases that do not require referral.
- Participates in Quality Assurance (QA) and Performance Improvement (PI) review processes.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency Program.
- Board Eligible or Certification by the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Board of Internal Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted Medical License from any U.NAVAJO/INDIAN PREFERENCE.
