Job Description
The Bindery Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the Finishing Department, ensuring the efficient operation of binding lines and supporting the mailing process. This is a key opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills and contribute to a successful team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support operators with efficient machine operation
- Manage the flow of materials onto and off binding lines
- Assist with the mailing process
- Perform hand-related tasks within the Finishing Department
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform work productively and safely
- Reliable attendance is required
- Ability to work mandatory overtime as needed
- Must possess ability to work at a rapid pace
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs frequently
- Continuous standing, frequent walking & stooping, occasional sitting, crouching, and reaching/working overhead required
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity required
- Must wear hearing protection and safety shoes
