What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Equipment Technician position at TSG - The Sheridan Group?
As a Facilities Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for completing all emergency repairs and assigned preventive or routine maintenance of production and facility equipment of moderate to high degree of complexity. This role requires mechanical and electrical skills, as well as the ability to read electrical schematics and diagnose complex repairs on equipment.
The successful candidate will have general knowledge of all building trades and basic computer skills. Good visual acuity and manual dexterity are also necessary. This role requires mandatory overtime or emergency call as needed, with overtime paying time and a half after 36 hours per week and day shift paying an extra shift premium on all hours.
