TSH Tree Service is hiring a Skilled Sawyer / Tree Professional to join our team in the sunny mountains of Breckenridge, Colorado.

Compensation:
$23 - $35 per hour
Pay based on experience, certifications, and productivity
Full-time; Seasonal (May through October)
Extended season hours available April and November. Winter on-call work is paid at time and a half
Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a valid US Drivers License

Skilled Sawyer / Tree Professional Roles:
- Operate chainsaws, directionally fell trees, feed and operate chipper, move logs, slash and materials.
- Drive chipper trucks/trailers as needed / as required
- Assist with the daily and periodic maintenance of all equipment, especially saws
- Work with our team to safely and effectively complete projects to spec, while maintaining quality and productivity standards
- Complete and maintain logbooks and safety documentation per industry standards
- Be an active member of our strong team culture.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of professionally trained chainsaw operation, high level directional tree felling, technical take-down skills and experience necessary in urban/suburban, residential mountain neighborhoods, as well as small scale forestry treatments.
- Three (3) years driving and operating medium duty chipper trucks, chippers, trailers, small loaders in a tree application, winches, and associated tree service equipment and tools.
- Mechanical proficiency with industry tools and equipment repair and maintenance.
Highly Valued Experience and Certifications:
- ISA certified arborist
- ISA certified tree worker and other ISA certs
- TCIA Certified Treecare Safety Professional
- US Forest Service B or C Faller certification
- Working with mechanized rigging for removal / takedowns
- Professional groundsman experience supporting climbing arborists
- Crane removals
- Class A CDL preferred
This position provides competitive pay with an hourly rate based on certification(s), experience, safety, teamwork, and productivity. Periodic bonuses throughout season and end of season bonus. TSH supports a strong path to upward mobility and opportunity for our team members.
