Summary: The Contract Review Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of job data entered by the Account Manager, comparing it with the customer purchase order, and verifying compliance with quality clauses, specifications, and applicable revisions. The position focuses on conducting thorough contract reviews, identifying discrepancies, and working closely with Contract Engineering and Account Managers to address any necessary changes. The ideal candidate will have an attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments to ensure seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities:

Contract Review Process:
- Review the job data entered by the Account Manager after receipt of the job traveler, ensuring it matches the customer purchase order for accuracy.
- Utilize the Contract Review checklist to verify all order details.
- Ensure the job traveler reflects appropriate quality clauses and flow down requirements (e.g., shelf life, test reports, packaging/labeling).
- Compare quality clauses to previous purchase orders to identify any changes in flow down requirements. If required, coordinate with Contract Engineering and Account Manager to revise the traveler or create a new T-Job.
- Verify the specifications for the part, checking revision levels for currency. If revisions have changed, ensure that necessary updates to the job traveler are made.
- Confirm that vendors are still listed under any Special Process Code and/or QPL controlled list, as applicable, and take appropriate actions to update the traveler if needed.
- Discrepancy Resolution:
- Identify discrepancies in the job data and resolve them at the time of discovery or refer them back to the Account Manager for correction, depending on the nature of the issue.
- If an engineering discrepancy is found, escalate the issue to the Contract Engineer for review and resolution.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Complete the Contract Review routing line and sign off with a timestamp.
- Verify whether a T-Job exists in JobBOSS. If no T-Job exists, refer the job to the Contract Engineer to create the T-Job.
- Maintain accurate records of contract reviews and revisions, ensuring documentation is up to date and compliant with company standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, engineering, or related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in contract review, procurement, or a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to review and interpret contracts, specifications, and purchase orders.
- Familiarity with industry quality standards, flow down requirements, and revision management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including Contract Engineering and Account Managers.
- Experience using JobBOSS or similar job management software is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in an office environment, with occasional standing and movement around the office as needed.
