Description :
This role plays a pivotal part in driving continuous improvement and ensuring quality standards across the organization. Key responsibilities include managing the Corrective Action process, overseeing supplier quality, and facilitating the resolution of nonconformance's. The position focuses on driving process improvements using problem-solving tools, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
Responsibilities :
Process Improvement and Problem Solving :
- Drive process improvements across the organization using problem-solving tools and techniques (e.g., root cause analysis, failure mode effects analysis).
- Ensure corrective actions address root causes to prevent recurrence and improve overall quality.
Corrective Action Process Management :
Own, manage, and monitor the Corrective Action (CA) process, ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues.Analyze and report CA metrics to drive continuous improvement and process optimization.Lead and facilitate regular CA review meetings to track progress and resolve outstanding actions.Facilitate and support the implementation of individual corrective actions (CAs) with internal cross-functional teams.Ensure timely completion and proper documentation of corrective actions within the company’s software systems.Nonconformance Management :
Oversee and manage internal and external nonconformance's, ensuring timely identification, documentation, and resolution.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address nonconformance issues and implement corrective actions.Communicate with customers to address nonconformance issues and ensure that corrective action requirements are met.Provide timely updates and reports to customers regarding the status of corrective actions.New Product Quality Requirements :
Support the review of new products to ensure they meet quality requirements and align with regulatory and customer expectations.Supplier Quality Management :
Manage and enforce supplier quality requirements, including face-to-face interactions and completing supplier audit findings.Issue and manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), working with suppliers to resolve issues and drive improvements in their Quality Management Systems (QMS).Provide support to suppliers in understanding and meeting flow-down requirements.Monitor and report on supplier performance using scorecards and other tracking methods.Ensure suppliers maintain required certifications and meet quality standards.Lead and support new supplier evaluations, selection, and verification processes.Manage and maintain the approved supplier list, ensuring only qualified suppliers are engaged.Other duties as assigned.

Authorized to Work in the United States : Must be authorized to work on a permanent basis in the U.S.Get It Done" Attitude : Demonstrates a positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of urgency in completing tasks and achieving goals.Independence and Self-Motivation : Ability to work independently with limited supervision, demonstrating strong initiative and self-drive.ISO9001 / AS9100 Experience : Previous experience with ISO9001, ISO13485, AS9100, or equivalent Quality Management Systems (QMS) is highly preferred.Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving abilities with experience using 8D methodology and other problem-solving tools.Customer Interaction : Comfortable and professional in face-to-face interactions with customers.Communication and Interpersonal Skills : Ability to effectively engage with diverse teams, customers, and colleagues with strong verbal and written communication skills.Manufacturing Background : Experience in a manufacturing environment with a solid understanding of industry processes.Detail-Oriented and Analytical : Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks while meeting deadlines.Solution-Oriented : Proven ability to develop and implement effective solutions for both routine and complex challenges.Presentation and Follow-Up : Ability to present information clearly, respond to inquiries, and follow up with clients, managers, and other stakeholders.Computer Proficiency : Sound computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Leadership and Teamwork : Self-motivated with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within teams.Preferred Qualifications :
Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management, or Manufacturing) is preferred.Six Sigma Certification : Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.Additional Certifications : ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), or similar certification.JobBOSS Experience : Familiarity with JobBOSS software or similar manufacturing management systems is highly preferred.Supplier Quality Management : Strong background in Supplier Quality Management.QMS Auditing Experience : Experience with Quality Management System (QMS) auditing.Molding and Assembly Knowledge : Knowledge of molding and assembly processes.Inspection Experience : Experience in inspection and quality control.Lean Training : Formal training in Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
