Job Summary:
We are seeking a safety-conscious Gate Inspector/Equipment Operator to join our team at our Henderson, Colorado location. This position works with a team to inspect all equipment that arrives at TSL’s terminal and utilizes heavy equipment to move chassis and containers within TSL property. This is a 1st shift position, with no weekends or holidays required.
Gate Inspector Duties:
- Performs inspections on trailers, chassis, and containers entering the yard gate using a hand-held device
- Notes the conditions of equipment after inspection and enters all data into tablet
- Serve as one of the first points of contact as drivers enter the yard
- Directs drivers to appropriate area of the yard
- Safely operates equipment, such as container lifts and shag trucks
- Moves containers and chassis to proper areas of TSL property for storage and/or maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
