What are the responsibilities and job description for the After-School Care Assistant position at TSL Kids Crew?
Responsibilities:
- Assist with implementing the weekly afterschool curriculum.
- Help create and maintain a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children.
- Support students with homework and encourage positive study habits.
- Assist with bus drop-off and supervise student transitions.
- Set up and facilitate crafts, projects, and recreational activities.
- Help with cleanup and organization of program spaces.
- Encourage positive social interactions and good behavior.
- Follow all program policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Ability to engage and interact with children in a positive, encouraging manner.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work well in a team setting.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Schedule & Pay:
- Part-time, 15 hours per week (afternoons 12:30-5:30)
- Pay rate: $15.50 per hour.
