Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team in a nurturing and engaging private school environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning in various subjects, including math and literacy.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Utilize Montessori methods and other educational approaches to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a respectful and productive learning space for all students.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's development and address any concerns.
- Provide individualized attention to students with special needs or disabilities, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Conduct regular assessments of student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience working in preschool settings or daycare environments is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Familiarity with lesson planning techniques and curriculum development for preschool-aged children.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.
- Experience with Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus.
- Excellent , both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
