Job Summary
The Special Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, particularly those with disabilities. Duties
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs of students with disabilities.
- Assist in managing classroom behavior and promoting positive interactions among students.
- Support students in their daily activities, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and accommodations.
- Facilitate literacy education and other academic subjects, adapting materials as needed for diverse learners.
- Work one-on-one or small groups with students to reinforce learning objectives and provide additional support.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in meetings related to student progress, including IEP reviews and team discussions.
