DUTIES AND ELEMENTS:
Essential Functions
Coordinate the development and distribution of all HR communication materials.
Oversee the administration and maintenance of HR databases and recordkeeping systems.
Ensure adherence to all applicable legislation and company policies in all areas of HR operations.
Create and maintain employee files
Assist in the recruitment, selection and onboarding processes
Participate in the interviewing process as necessary.
Prepare orientation packets.
Complete new hire and termination paperwork.
Accurately log and maintain training records
Assist with benefits, compensation, bonus programs
Answer general employee questions within the scope of job responsibilities.
Maintain personnel, medical, short-term disability, and workers compensation files.
FMLA administration and tracking
Assist with the preparation of quarterly employee meetings and employee relations activities.
Administer attendance point program and post results weekly.
Complete verbal and written employment verifications
Complete and enter Friend of Court and Garnishments
Maintain job postings on really.
Perform other duties as assigned
Assist Human Resource Manager as needed
Qualifications
Required
Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience.
Knowledge of employment and labor laws, including FMLA
Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal skills. Well organized and decisive
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Strong problem solving skills.
High level attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent experience.
Manufacturing experience
Labor Relations experience
ADP experience
Plex software experience
