Job Description
Your main responsibilities include:
- General responsibility of the Mechanical / electrical design engineer.
- Ensuring Office MEP design compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Overall control of the project schedule & budget.
- Planning, allocation, and monitoring of resources and construction materials.
- Logistic planning and management of the construction site.
- Coordination and integration of interfaces between various construction contractors.
- Managing related permits and communicating with authorities or relevant parties on construction matters.
- Handling construction payments and change orders.
- Managing safety, quality, and security on the construction site.
- Inspecting and documenting the construction site.
- Monitoring the design progress of the design consultant and identifying potential risks based on construction schedule requirements.
- Function as an owner representative for all design and construction phases.
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:
- B.S. Degree required in a relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering, HVAC Design Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
- Familiar with project scheduling software (Microsoft Project, etc), graphic software (AutoCAD, etc) and BIM software (Revit, etc) is a plus.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in MEP design or a related field.
- In-depth understanding and practical experience on international building regulations and construction sequence.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with team members and stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities are necessary for successfully working under pressure.
- Professional Engineer license is a plus.
- Flexibility to change priorities and responsibilities to support business needs.
