As an Sr. Equipment Engineer you are responsible for the uptime and performance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including KE Furnaces, DNS Wet Benches, and Disco Back Grinders in the diffusion equipment section. TSMC WA is a fast-paced semiconductor-manufacturing environment offering a variety of challenges. This is an exempt position and additional work hours may be requested at times and requires carrying a pager and responding swiftly. Excellent teamwork skills and demonstration of our four core values of Integrity, Customer Partnership, Innovation, and Commitment is key.
While this position is scheduled to work core business hours, Monday-Friday, there may be times when additional hours are necessary.

At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $110,840 and $133,008 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience, and the position level. Responsibilities Include
- Sustain production operations
- Continue yield and quality improvement
- New process development and problem solving
- Manufacturing process cost reduction programs

- At least 5 years’ experience working in a high volume manufacturing semiconductor Fab.
- BS or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Material Science
- Able to fundamentally understand production equipment, metrology, electrical measurement and inspection tool
- Understand process flow
- Good oral and written communication
- Good teamwork and leadership
- Flexible to work any shift
