The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience, and the position level. As an IT Engineer, you will develop, enhance and maintain semiconductor factory MES/CIM applications and manufacturing and engineering reports, participate system design, implementation and deployment, support users and team members as needed. Work in a team, multitasking and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities Include
- Create and maintain IT systems for semiconductor manufacturing FAB including MES, equipment controllers, central CIM systems, and reports.
- Perform timely user issue troubleshooting and look for opportunities for system baseline improvement.
- Represent IT to work with user groups on total IT solutions in productivity and quality improvement.
- Mon-Friday shift 8AM to 5PM carrying a pager to provide off-hour and weekend on-call support as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or other engineering discipline.
- Strong foundation in core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience in writing web applications for deployment to middle tier and/or spring boot environments RESTful APIs, and web frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2).
- Competence in using a Unix environment, including shell scripting (basg, etc.) and command-in tools.
- Basic knowledge of Overhead Hoist Transport (OHT) for Fab Automation preferred.
- Self-motivated and self-learned.
- Strong team player.
- Excellent communication skills.
