About the Project
We are looking for Data Collection Vehicle Operators to assist in capturing high-quality street-level imagery across various locations in the USA. This initiative aims to enhance the accuracy and detail of one of the world’s leading online mapping platforms.
Drivers will operate company-provided vehicles equipped with 360° camera systems to capture images of public roads, key landmarks, and commercial areas. Assigned routes will focus on historical sites and business districts, with some locations requiring multiple visits due to weather conditions. The project is expected to run for 3 to 6 months, covering multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a company-provided vehicle to collect street-level imagery along designated routes.
- Ensure the 360° camera system is functioning properly during data collection.
- Securely store and transfer collected data as instructed.
- Communicate any technical or logistical issues to the project team.
- Adapt to changing schedules due to weather conditions.
Work Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week).
- Weekend work may be required due to weather-related delays.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable driving for extended periods and following designated routes.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
- Access to a secure, monitored parking space for the company vehicle.
- Tech-savvy: able to use Gmail, Google Forms, and Google Meet for reporting and communication.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and responsibility.
- Must pass a criminal and driving background check.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus.
