Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair:
- Perform preventative maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical malfunctions using diagrams, manuals, and precision instruments.
- Dismantle devices to remove defective parts, utilizing hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools.
- Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment.
- Adjust functional parts and control instruments using hand tools and measuring devices.
- Problem Solving and Diagnostics:
- Locate sources of mechanical problems through observation and listening.
- Inspect used parts and determine dimensional changes using measuring instruments.
- Inventory and Resource Management:
- Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
- Anticipate needed items and place/expedite orders.
- Conserve maintenance resources through efficient use of equipment and supplies.
- Documentation and Communication:
- Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting and analyzing data.
- Provide mechanical maintenance information to production workers and team members.
- Maintain continuity by documenting and communicating actions.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures and regulations.
- Control downtime by informing production workers of preventative maintenance.
- Comply with OSHA and GMP training requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams, manuals, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as measuring instruments.
- Ability to use machine shop instrumentation.
Communication and Reasoning:
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and use hands regularly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with team assistance.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally.
Preferred Certifications:
- Hi-LO, Electrical certification.
Computer Skills:
- Basic Email skills.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Loud noise environment.
- Afternoon shift.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
