Job Overview:
As the Auto Body Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the shop’s daily operations, ensuring high-quality repairs, and managing customer interactions. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively supervise staff, manage the shop repair schedule, and ensure the shop runs smoothly and profitably while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities: Customer Interaction:
- Greet customers, assess vehicle damage, and provide accurate repair estimates.
- Communicate repair status updates and address customer concerns promptly.
- Verify insurance coverage and coordinate with insurance companies.
Operations Management:
- Schedule and assign repair jobs to technicians.
- Monitor repair progress to ensure timely completion.
- Oversee parts ordering and inventory management.
- Maintain strict quality control standards for all repairs.
Staff Management:
- Train, and supervise body shop technicians and support staff.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations.
Financial Management:

- Manage shop expenses and maintain budget control.
