DATA CENTER ENGINEERS AT TSP TYPICALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support data center hardware (maintain, troubleshoot, break-fix)
- Rack and stack of data center equipment
- Provide support for data center operations
- Hardware support experience; hardware troubleshooting, structured cabling inspections, swapping failed hardware, hardware updates/upgrades, data center operations and installation/decommissioning
- User level Unix experience is required
- Data center support knowledge
- Rack and stack
- Break-fix
- Strong knowledge of server hardware, storage systems, and networking equipment
- Staging and installation of enterprise equipment
- Experience planning layout of infrastructure in racks
- Location: onsite in Memphis, TN Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- Willingness to work in a data center environment, which may include exposure to noise, heat, and electrical equipment
- Pay grade: 28
