Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, safety, medical surveillance, and sustainability laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement new EHS programs, policies, and procedures, as well as update and improve existing ones.
- Manage safe work permits and oversee contractor safety programs.
- Support the training of various EHS programs, including confined space entry, lockout tagout, and work at height.
- Perform risk and hazard assessments throughout the campus.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4-6 years of prior EHS experience.
- Degree in environmental studies, health & safety, science or engineering.
- Proficient with MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Minimum 4 years experience with incidents and/or learning systems databases.
- Experience related to EHS federal and state regulations (EPA, MassDEP, OSHA, etc.).
