ETL Developer - ab initio

Responsibilities:

• Conduct feasibility studies, IT planning, and risk assessments to develop new applications or modify existing systems.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle: analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Analyze complex problems, evaluate business processes, and recommend programming solutions.
• Develop security measures and ensure system functionality post-implementation.
• Collaborate with users, clients, and other tech teams to resolve issues and improve system functionality.
• Ensure compliance with standards and operating procedures.
• Mentor junior analysts and guide project decisions with a focus on risk management and compliance.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment) and data integration and processing tasks is essential for the role.
• Strong experience with UNIX/Linux Shell scripting is required to automate tasks and manage system processes efficiently.
• Expertise in Oracle databases, along with advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills, is crucial for developing and maintaining efficient data-driven applications.
• The ability to perform SQL performance tuning is vital to optimize query execution and ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
