Position Summary:
The GSC Strategy & Business Operations (S&BO) role leads global supply chain activities, aligning with the GSC strategic roadmap. Responsibilities include managing GSC-wide projects, driving data analytics and visualization strategy, and conducting external benchmarking to improve operations. The role also ensures effective performance measurement and process improvement across the GSC organization, including delivery, customer partnerships, E2E planning, clinical supply chain, and digital excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and evolve GSC governance, processes, and best practices.
- Lead meetings, prioritize objectives, and facilitate decisions for quick, impactful outcomes.
- Standardize and simplify strategic planning and governance across GSC pillars.
- Identify processes/tools for performance evaluation, risk detection, and decision-making.
- Develop GSC metrics and dashboards to drive continuous improvement and performance.
- Lead and prioritize initiatives that enhance long-term organizational performance and efficiency.
- Manage projects and multifunctional teams focused on continuous improvement.
- Evaluate business processes for improvement and implement benchmarking practices.
- Stay informed on industry trends in data analytics and bring innovative solutions.
- Create clear, engaging presentations to simplify complex ideas.
Culture & People:
- Develop communication plans for GSC (newsletters, townhalls, events) in collaboration with pillar SBO leads.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including Finance, IT, HR, and others.
- Lead communities of practice and initiatives to foster change and culture.
- Organize team-building events and activities to promote collaboration and inclusivity.
Change Management:
- Implement and lead change management strategies using company methodology.
- Drive employee engagement programs to enhance satisfaction and morale.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, data analytics, life sciences, or business; advanced degree preferred.
- 4 years’ experience in business operations, supply chain, or data analytics, preferably in pharma.
- Proficient in data science, analytics platforms, and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBi).
- Strong communication skills for executive-level presentations and stakeholder management.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence global teams.
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills, with a focus on fact-based solutions.
- Financial awareness with a strong understanding of ROI and project management.
- Ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint with advanced multimedia skills.
