Work Location:
New York, NY – Hybrid- 3 days onsite and 2 days REMOTE. NO RELOCATION CANDIDATES AND MUST BE LOCAL.
Pay: $83-$85 per hour W2
Summary:
Develop and deliver key business initiatives, focusing on building Angular UI solutions for Prime Finance margin configuration and administration tool MCAT. Must have a solid understanding and experience with project delivery, agile software development life cycle, JavaScript modern frameworks and Java (Spring). This team support systems that help Prime Finance to set up and maintain in-house/regulatory margin methodologies configuration used in margin calculations. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional global teams on delivering solutions in the Prime Finance margin area.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance the User Interface using Angular 13 / TypeScript, ensuring seamless user experience and high performance.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow between front-end and back-end services
- Familiarity with and enthusiasm for software engineering best practices such as testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
- Implement state management using NgRx in a predictable and scalable manner
- Utilize Git for source code management and collaborate with team members through regular code reviews, testing, debugging, and collaborative development practices
- Write automated test cases using Selenium or other front-end testing tool
- Analyze and optimize front-end performance for fast page load times and smooth user experiences
- Perform Dev Integration testing, UAT rollouts, Production Deployments and Production Support.
- Provide business as usual (BAU) coverage.
Required Skills:
- 8 years of Application development experience through full lifecycle; strong working experience on UI Framework in Angular
- Excellent Angular 13 / TypeScript knowledge
- Strong Experience in HTML/CSS, RxJs, Node JS
- Strong Experience with front-end unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or similar testing tools
- Experience with integration testing tools such as Playwright for end-to-end testing.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices for automating code deployment and testing
- Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases, Oracle experience is a plus
- Tools: IntelliJ Idea, Linux, Git, Maven, Jira
Preferred Skills:
- Equities and/or Prime Brokerage experience will be a plus
- Experience of working in fast paced environment
- Experience working with Ag-Grid
- Experience working with Kafka
- Docker experience
- Experience in Margin financial concepts
- End-to-end test automation (or willingness to learn)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
