We are excited to announce an opportunity with our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, for a Manufacturing Technician in a contract position. This role is based in Libertyville, Illinois, and we are seeking local candidates only. The tentative work schedule is from 8 am to 4 pm, including weekends (Saturday-Wednesday / Tuesday-Saturday / Sunday-Thursday).
Key Qualifications :
At least 1 year of experience in cleaning facilities or clean rooms in accordance with GMP standards.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Compensation : $19-20 / hour on a W2 basis.
Responsibilities :
Your primary focus will be the cleaning and sanitization of the Manufacturing Facility, Warehouse, and any other areas designated by management.
You will document cleaning activities meticulously and complete all necessary training to ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs.
Work alongside a team to perform daily cleaning and sanitization tasks according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist in preparing materials for manufacturing processes.
Employ proper cleaning techniques such as vacuuming, trash disposal, and mopping of walls, ceilings, and floors.
Manage and maintain all cleaning equipment used in the facility.
Prepare cleaning and sanitization solutions according to specifications outlined in SOPs.
Accurately record solution preparation and cleaning activities in logbooks, following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) and company SOPs.
Take initiative in recognizing deviations from accepted practices during routine assignments.
Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures.
Maintain a clean room environment in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Gain proficiency in process systems (e.g., Oracle interfaces) and other supporting business systems.
Help maintain material and components inventory levels.
