What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Chain Coordinator position at TSRC Specialty Materials LLC?
The supply chain coordinator is a vital member of the supply chain team who is responsible for creating and maintaining daily production and packaging schedules and overseeing the logistics and management of products stored at our third-party warehouses.
- Production and Packaging Planning – Work with the unit’s production schedules provided by the Supply Chain Planner to create a packaging plan for the packaging warehouse and update it regularly
- Attend daily plant status and Supply Chain team meetings
- Update daily production entries into various spreadsheets and databases
- Maintain and file all packaging production records
- Goods Issue material and orders from 3rd party managed warehouses in SAP
- Be the main point of contact for all 3rd party managed warehouses for SAP updates needed (add/removal of flags, goods issue troubleshooting, material movements, updating stock quantities etc.)
- Create and maintain BOMs and routings in SAP for new current and new materials
- Oversee and implement the product reclass procedure as needed to reclass materials at 3rd party warehouses
- Oversee the request and logistics involved with returning damaged or reclaim materials to the plant as needed
- Oversee and inspect customer returns and sample request to 3rd party warehouses
- Meet with the Planning & Logistics Manager monthly to review aging stocks to identify and complete necessary actions to reduce this stock
- Complete monthly closing procedures on the first day of the month (including weekends)
- Open and Close Purchase Orders for production entries monthly
- Review and update procedures and MOCs related to the packaging warehouse
- Be present for all annual warehouse physical inventories and help reconcile discrepancies
- Annually open and maintain purchase orders in SAP for reject materials
- Other duties that may be requested by TSRC Specialty Materials management
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
- 3 years supply chain planning and/or logistics experience
- Intermediate level skills at Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- SAP experience preferred
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma Required
- College Degree preferred
