What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Services Associate position at TSS - Temporary Staffing + Search?
TSS is partnering with a financial management and planning company to hire a full-time, onsite Client Services Associate for a permanent position in Denver, CO.
As a Client Services Associate, you will act as a financial concierge for wealthy individuals and/or families, helping manage their financial, tax, estate, and investment affairs while ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Overview:
· Keep track of money & assets – Reviewing cash flow, investments, and bills to make sure everything is in order.
· Help with taxes & estate planning – Gathering tax documents, making payments, and working with accountants and lawyers.
· Handle financial transactions – Processing payments, transfers, and setting up bank or investment accounts.
· Coordinate with experts – Acting as a go-between for clients and their financial advisors, bankers, lawyers, and insurance agents.
· Manage special financial projects – Assisting with setting up trusts, LLCs, private investments, and loans.
· Organize & track everything – Keeping detailed records to ensure financial plans are executed properly.
The Details:
- Execute tax, estate, investment, and entity strategies.
- Support Accounting Analysts with timely and accurate client bill payments.
- Prepare for and follow up on client meetings.
- Conduct cash flow and financial planning analyses, reviewing liquid and illiquid assets.
- Ensure timely insurance renewals and payments.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with clients.
- Coordinate with third parties, including banks, accountants, attorneys, and brokers.
- Process and track financial transactions, such as checks, wires, and ACH transfers.
- Assist with tax planning and return preparation, including document collection and payments.
- Manage private client loans, including promissory notes and activity tracking.
- Organize and maintain financial records in planning systems and databases.
- Ensure accuracy in reports and business/personal financials.
- Facilitate new account setups for banking, brokerage, and bill payments.
- Assist in establishing and managing LLCs, trusts, and other entities.
- Oversee private investments, handling documentation and coordination.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field (a Master’s or CPA is a plus).
- 3-7 years of experience in wealth management, financial services, family office, tax advisory, or accounting.
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) or ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) is highly preferred.
- Understanding of investments, tax planning, estate planning, and entity structures.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, track deadlines, and follow up on complex financial matters.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM system, financial planning software, MS Excel, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and banking platforms.
- Ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, reporting, and documentation.
- Ability to interact professionally with clients, accountants, attorneys, and financial institutions.
- Handling sensitive financial and personal information with the utmost integrity.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is $80,000-$110,000yr 10% bonus and 100% paid Medical benefits for you family. Other benefits: 401k 2%, unlimited PTO, paid sick leave, 10 paid holidays, free parking, phone stipend, and more!
