TSS is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support DOE’s Environmental Management Consolidated Business Center (EMCBC) Office of Technical Support and Asset Management. This position requires: (1) knowledge of general office automation software, practices, and procedures; (2) high level proficiency in typing; and (3) ability to apply knowledges and these skills in the performance of general office support work.
Approximately 50% of the time will be spent in support of the functions performed by the Real Property Officers. Duties will include, but are not limited to, in-office support for organizing, reviewing and retrieval of physical and electronic records, formatting of real property documents, and review of real property documents for administrative editing. Candidate must obtain and maintain an active Ohio Notary Commission for the timely notarizing of critical real property documents. Candidate will support the preparation and dispersal of electronic and physical correspondence on behalf of the Real Property Officer functions. The candidate will support general OTSAM administrative needs to include, but not limited to records keeping, shredding, dispersal of keys in support of fleet management, cabinets and offices; and escorting visitors and/or janitorial staff in secured areas on an as-needed basis.
The other 50% of the time will be spent performing registrar and enrollment functions for the USAccess badging system and other security support functions, including document and media shredding and minor maintenance of associated security equipment. As a USAccess role holder, the candidate will be required to hold and maintain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and must successfully complete the registrar role-based, in-person training course provided by GSA for the USAccess system.
