TSS is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our mission in Springfield, VA for a 6-month contract.
The Project Manager shall serve as a working PM in support of the FPS
Project Management Division (PMD). The PM shall be responsible for providing
administrative support services as defined within the SOW to include the provision of
guidance and program support within a variety of administrative, analytical, and financial
related functions. The Project Manager is expected to provide recommendations for
improvements in administrative processes, data compilations, and administrative financial
What You'll Do:
The Contractor shall plan, organize, direct and control the project/program to ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled, quality standards are met, and associated expectations of performance are achieved.
The Contractor shall manage multiple concurrent project tasks, providing expert direction and guidance to subordinates, developing schedules, formulating work plans and serve as point of contact with DHS Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs)/Task Monitors.
The Contractor shall oversee the development and execution of programs; and is accountable for the quality and timely delivery of contractual items under the contract terms and conditions.
Serve as point of contact with the client and perform day- to-day management of contract execution, possibly involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations, on a single project.
Establish and maintain technical and financial reports demonstrating project progress and delegate responsibilities to subordinates and oversee successful contract/task order completion.
Ensure senior level management within the client organizations is aware of overall program status, including all relevant projects and their potential impact on higher level organizational strategic vision.
The Contractor shall manage the client interface at the COR level.
The Contractor shall perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, ensure coverage when personnel are out and have the ability to complete the duties and possess all of the demonstrated experience and knowledge requirements.
Assist in the preparation of presentation materials.
Provide general office and research, administrative and clerical support, word processing, document preparation/management, and file maintenance as required by FPS.
Maintain activity calendars and schedule corresponding meetings, conference rooms and conferences as necessary.
Maintain confidentiality of information.
Cancel and/or reschedule commitments as required by higher priority demands or special commitments.
Assist in preparation, editing and execution of written correspondence with varying levels of complexity.
Prepare, edit and assemble reports required for meetings and presentations.
Work effectively with personnel from other branches and divisions within FPS accomplish tasks.
Track documents through various approval processes within the agency as each relates
to its respective policies, priorities, practices and procedures.
Process travel arrangements using "Fed Traveler" for executive staff.
Order, distribute, and maintain office supplies and equipment.
Coordinate with IT staff to provide support services for printers, copiers, scanners and fax machines as required.
Interact with members of the staff and individuals internal and external to the agency ranging from agency directors to the general public.
Answer incoming phone calls, receive packages, greet and direct visitors to the agency to appropriate points of contact.
What You Have:
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in an office environment / executive assistance with Minimum of five (5) years of management supervisory experience.
The experience should demonstrate progressive growth and management experience.
Experiences should demonstrate the ability to deliver outcomes with associated projects through specific impacts of the individual proposed

Minimum of five (5) years of management support experience in support of a Federal
Government client is desired, but not required.
Education Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree preferred in business or related field.
Salary : $100,000 - $105,000
