Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas to detect and deter potential threats
- Respond to alarms and security incidents
- Monitor surveillance equipment and access points
- Enforce property regulations and safety precautions
- Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Handle security incidents and emergencies, including conflict management and crisis intervention
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records

Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military preferred
- Certification in CPR, First Aid & Caregiver Fire Safety are required.
- Proficiency in conflict management techniques
- Proven work experience as a Security Officer or relevant position
- Knowledge of security operations, procedures, and practices
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Current TB results required. If you do not have, can be obtained at CVS Minute Clinic or Chatham/Glynn County Health Department.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
