What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLAIMS REP / NEW EMPLOYEE TRAINER position at TSU ONE (TEXAS STATE UTILITIES)?
TSU ONE, a utility contractor, is seeking a qualified candidate for our Claims Rep/NEO Trainer (New Employee Trainer).
Claims Rep Responsibilities Include:
-Resolve claims in a timely manner.
- Conduct scene investigations in the field.
- Conduct recorded interviews with insured, claimants and witnesses to determine liability.
- Document all investigation activity, present reports to management, and collaborate with all departments
- Provide efficient and courteous service to internal business partners and external customers concerning investigations and resolution of claims.
- Responsible for making sound financial decisions that are in the best interest of the company and its clients.
- Review and analyze suspicious and potentially fraudulent claims
- Evaluate all injury and damage claims with the ultimate goal of creating positive outcomes for the company
- Establish productive working relationships with internal & external customers
- Negotiate with attorneys, claimants, insured, and body shops in regard to damage and injury claims
- Work closely with third party vendors in estimating claimed losses.
- Resolve claims for property damage claims within authority.
- Administrative & other duties upon request
NEO Trainer (New Employee Orientation) duties include:
-Administer, track, and evaluate all New Hire Orientation and Onboarding
-Supervise new-hires during the training period and make recommendations to management and/or Human Resources regarding training needs, concerns and continued employment.
-Develop and promote positive working relationships with new hires.
-Organize and maintain training venues, logistics, and equipment.
-Work with the Hiring manager to help track compliance and results of orientation.
-All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
· Previous training experience
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Professional communication and demeanor
· Ability to present ideas, concepts, issues, concerns, and questions in a well thought out, positive, and professional manner to employees
· Excellent presentation skills and ability to foster an atmosphere of teamwork with others.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Able to work independently
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT: High School Diploma/ GED; Associates Degree or two years of college coursework in Communications, HR, or similar field preferred but not required; experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
