Overview
We are seeking an Overhead Journeyman Lineman who has skills and knowledge/experience to install, repair, and maintain electrical power systems and lines, working on overhead and underground structures.
Candidates must possess the knowledge and skills to perform these tasks independently.
Duties
- Installing and maintaining electrical power systems: This includes building and maintaining power lines, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical problems: Identify and fix issues with power lines, voltage regulators, and other components.
- Working at heights: Have skills and ability to work on poles and towers to access, install and repair overhead power lines.
- Following safety regulations: Must adhere to strict safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Operating specialized equipment: Equipment to include aerial lifts, digger derricks, and other tools and vehicles used in the field detail.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a stable, verifiable work history, with an acceptable MVR and Class A CDL.
A pre-employment drug and alcohol screen is required. This is a career job with progressive pay and benefit package.
