Job Overview: As a Gas Distribution Foreman at TSU One, you will oversee daily operations related to gas distribution systems, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with industry standards. You will supervise a team of technicians and manage all aspects of installation, maintenance, and repair of gas lines and equipment. Your experience with Atmos Energy and/or One Gas (ONG) will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of gas distribution projects and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of gas distribution technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas lines and related equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including OSHA, DOT, and local codes, as well as TSU One’s internal safety policies.
• Plan, organize, and assign work to ensure the efficient use of resources and timely completion of gas distribution projects.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of daily operations, ensuring work is performed to high standards of quality and safety.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the gas distribution system, making decisions to ensure minimal disruption of services.
• Conduct site assessments and risk evaluations to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records of all work activities, including safety inspections, work progress, and materials used.
• Collaborate with other departments to manage project timelines and resource allocation.
• Provide continuous training to team members on safety, operational procedures, and technical skills.
• Ensure all field operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations and industry best practices.
• Manage the safe and efficient operation of equipment, ensuring all tools and vehicles are well-maintained.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in gas distribution, with hands-on expertise in Atmos Energy and/or One Gas (ONG) systems.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, such as Foreman or Supervisor, within the gas distribution industry.
• Strong understanding of gas distribution systems, pipeline construction, and related equipment.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards, including OSHA, DOT regulations, and local codes.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues related to gas distribution systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality control.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working specifically with Atmos Energy or One Gas (ONG) systems.
• Relevant certifications in gas distribution or pipeline safety.
• First aid and CPR certifications.
