Field IT Technician

Tsunami Express Car Wash currently operates 17 express car washes in Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois with plans for 50 new locations over the next 3 years. We are developing a network of car washes, teammates, and technology to deliver a seamless, premium customer experience. We will delight our customers, reward our members, and leverage automated & repeatable solutions that increases our customer’s likelihood to buy, join, and stay. Position Overview:

The Field IT Technician is responsible for providing on-site technical support to ensure the smooth operation of camera systems, networks, and hardware across multiple company locations. This role requires travel to different sites to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in person.

What you’ll do:

• Installation and maintenance of camera systems – cameras, cabling, and IVRs
• Serve as a point of contact with technology vendors
• Respond to and resolve on-site technical support requests in a timely manner
• Software system administration (SpotAI)
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across different platforms and operating systems
• Document technical procedures and maintain inventory of IT assets
• Train users on new hardware and software as needed
• Provide after-hours support for critical issues when necessary

What you’ll need to have:

Required

• Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in IT support, with demonstrated field service experience
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principles
• Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Technical certifications (CompTIA Security , Network , Microsoft certifications)
• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions
• Knowledge of VOIP phone systems and video conferencing equipment
• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and inventory management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel to multiple locations (up to 80% travel time depending on needs)
• Capable of working in various environments (office, retail, warehouse)
• Able to climb ladders, work in tight spaces, and maneuver around physical obstacles to access equipment
