TSV is working on a search for an Executive Director to provide oversight for a Prescription Plan for a national retail PBM. This is a strategic leadership role reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer. The incumbent will provide leadership for the prescription plan by working with the Leadership team to establish long range goals, strategies, plans, and policies that deliver growth. Oversight of PBM sales, client relations, product development, and all other plan related functions. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure overall objectives are met; recommend and implement strategy and process for continued success of organizations
- Foster and model a workplace culture across the teams that support core values and focuses on key business drivers
- Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies
- Collaborate with leadership across the organization to develop and oversee implementation of operational systems and processes that support the growth goals of the company
- Drive the company to achieve sales growth, profitability and business goals and objectives while supporting the core values
- Ensure highly productive relationships and partnerships internally and externally for the benefit of the organization
- Interview, select, hire, train and coach leadership to create a high-performance leadership team in each area of responsibility; evaluate performance and provide direction, mentoring, feedback, coaching and necessary development to leadership team
- Communicate regularly to leadership in areas of responsibility to inform, recognize and set priority; ensure development of company policies and procedures and set expectations for leadership to communicate and implements across their teams
- Deliver market leading solutions and resolver of business problems out in the market, and inside the business.
- Prepare annual budget for areas of responsibilities in coordination with Finance and share approved budget with teams to establish financial goals and tracking
- Partner with leadership to ensure teams manage to the goals in a fiscally sound manner consistent with company values
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
- Travel up to 50-75% time to KPP offices, meetings, conferences, vendor and client meetings
Requirements:
- Experience selling PBM services and/or PBM operations
- Experience managing network and pharmacy operations
- 5 years of people leadership experience in Healthcare or PBM
- Active and in good standing Pharmacist License
- Demonstrated excellence with attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities with critical focus on accuracy and safety
- Demonstrate knowledge of the business model, products and services provided by specialty pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of business and ability to analyze data to identify actions to be taken, with strong process management skills
- Highly effective communicator with superior listening, understanding, speaking, and writing skills
- Strong team building skills, with the ability to influence, lead, teach, train, counsel and coach to accomplish organizations goals
- Demonstrated ownership mindset, goal-orientation and organized to drive results and timely completion of projects; ability to use critical thinking, sound judgment and full understanding of relevant impacts in decision making
- Proven ability to drive improved customer satisfaction and enduring business relationships with patients, prescribers, and pharmacy associates
