Pre-Construction Coordinator-Estimator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Preconstruction Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the early stages of construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of project coordination are meticulously planned and executed. This position requires a strong background in construction management, project management, and familiarity with various construction software tools. The Preconstruction Manager will collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop comprehensive project plans that align with client expectations and industry standards.

Duties

• Oversee the preconstruction phase of projects, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and submitted on time.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
• Utilize software tools such as ProCore, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Bluebeam for project tracking and management.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to gather requirements and develop detailed project plans.
• Review contracts and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information for accurate project planning.
• Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
• Prepare cost estimates and manage bidding processes for subcontractors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction management or project management within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of project coordination practices and methodologies.
• Proficiency in using construction management software such as ProCore, Buildertrend, and Bluebeam.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in contract review and compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
