This role is Hybrid, located in the Indianapolis, IN area.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Training Facilitator to lead engaging, results-driven sales training programs for our client in the Wastewater Management Industry. This full-time role will focus on equipping sales teams with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to improve customer engagement, close deals effectively, and achieve sales targets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales training, facilitation, and coaching, with experience in industries such as commercial fleet management, construction equipment, underground utilities, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with sales leadership to assess training needs and identify skill gaps.
-Develop and deliver sales training programs using interactive workshops, role-playing exercises, and real-world scenarios.
-Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions that drive measurable performance improvements.
-Coach and mentor sales representatives on selling techniques, product knowledge, and CRM/ERP system usage.
-Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of training sessions, ensuring seamless execution.
-Partner with content creators to refine training materials that align with sales strategies.
-Measure and analyze training effectiveness, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
-Stay current on industry trends, sales methodologies, and adult learning principles to enhance training delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
-Proven experience in sales training, facilitation, and coaching, with hands-on sales or business development exposure.
-Strong knowledge of CRM and ERP systems to support training and sales performance tracking.
-Industry Experience
-Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse teams.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
-Ability to travel as needed for in-person training sessions (<50%).
