Key Responsibilities:
- Support the engineering team with equipment troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Operate and maintain toolroom equipment including mills, lathes, drill presses, and saws.
- Adjust and operate automated inspection and machine tending equipment.
- Document all repairs and preventive maintenance using computerized maintenance software.
- Track parts inventory and assist with procurement for repairs.
- Participate in annual equipment maintenance and work alongside the maintenance manager.
- Ensure smooth operations and compliance with company procedures, safety, and quality goals.
- Assist in fabrication and machine setup as needed.
- Vocational training or relevant college coursework in manufacturing or engineering.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance documentation software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing concepts and equipment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Preferred (but not required): Project management knowledge, CNC operations experience.
- Reliable transportation to Pittsfield, NH.
