Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with a strong background in the fragrance industry. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, driving sales, and managing key accounts to ensure business growth. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of fragrance trends, market demands, and customer preferences.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Identify new business opportunities and execute sales strategies to expand market presence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Perfumers, Marketing, Production, Quality Control, and Regulatory Affairs, to deliver optimal client solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and closing.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and emerging fragrance innovations to provide valuable insights to clients.
- Oversee sample requests, manage briefs, and coordinate with internal teams to meet client expectations.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to represent the company and strengthen partnerships.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or marketing within the fragrance industry.
- Strong understanding of fragrance development, product positioning, and customer preferences.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record of managing accounts, driving revenue growth, and meeting sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events (up to 50% travel required).
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong relationship-building and client management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and customer needs.
