Responsibilities:
- Research, prepare, review, and reconcile financial statements and reports.
- Analyze compliance risks and identify potential errors.
- Interpret and apply accounting policies, directives, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop recommendations on complex accounting issues, including writing white papers.
- Establish and maintain cost accounting structures, tools, and systems.
- Support changes to accounting tools and processes, particularly during the team’s SAP transition.
- 5 experience as accountant in financial statement and report analysis.
- Knowledge of compliance regulations and accounting policies.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
- SAP experience (highly preferred but not required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with financial reporting and data analysis.
