Analytical Chemist
Location: Coral Springs, FL
Type: Contract
Schedule: 1st Shift l 9:00am to 6:00pm
2nd Shift | 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $26–$30/hour (DOE and shift differential)
Summary
Join our client’s dynamic team as an Analytical Chemist, where you’ll perform foundational laboratory analyses that support pharmaceutical product development. This opportunity allows you to apply your skills in a regulated environment, maintaining the highest quality standards while advancing your expertise in analytical chemistry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in compliance with cGMP and FDA regulatory standards.
- Utilize instrumentation including HPLC/UPLC, UV-Vis, GC, and IR to verify safety, identity, purity, and strength of pharmaceutical materials.
- Prepare reagents, solvents, and solutions required for testing activities.
- Document all testing activities accurately in electronic and paper records per SOP and regulatory requirements.
- Support the production processes for Dry Powder Inhaler (DPI) and Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) formulations.
- Collaborate effectively within project teams to meet timelines and quality expectations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and participate actively in laboratory safety culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in a laboratory setting with a focus on analytical chemistry.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques including wet chemistry and operation of analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, UPLC).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
