Our client is a well-established company growing organization with diverse business lines in the long-term care industry providing post-acute services through a growing portfolio of skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, rehabilitation, memory care, and hospices.

Job Summary: The Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing, leading, and administering the company’s Compliance Program across all divisions in alignment with the Company policies and procedures including the Health Plan, Code of Conduct, Quality Hotline, Monitoring, Auditing/trending/tracking and Summary Reviews. This position will be responsible for adherence to the requirements and guidance set forth by various regulatory authorities, such as OIG, DOJ, CMS, and HHSC.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience deploying compliance infrastructure and following best practices for an effective Compliance Program in a multi-faceted healthcare organization.
• Bachelor’s degree is required, and Certification in Healthcare Compliance is preferred.
• Experience as a compliance professional in primary service lines - skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, rehabilitation, memory care, and hospices.
• Ability to effectively communicate, educate, direct, and delegate.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Essential Functions:

• Serving as Chief Compliance Officer across all service lines and entities.
• Managing compliance elements, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to all relevant federal and state laws, regulations, guidance, and industry best practices.
• Engaging in Compliance Program activities in each of the well-established elements of an effective Compliance Program, tailored to key risk areas.
• Continuously enhancing the Compliance Program to address organizational risks, business initiatives, and regulatory changes.
• Chairing the Compliance Committee and reporting to leadership and governance on Compliance Program activities, resources, accomplishments, and needs.
• Partnering with key organizational stakeholders to ensure the Compliance Program effectively prevents, detects, and responds to potential non-compliance with applicable standards.
• Providing exemplary leadership in promoting commitment to compliance.
• Promoting a strong organizational compliance culture and developing collaborative relationships across the organization.
• Acting as a compliance resource regarding potential business initiatives.

Compensation

• Salary $180k-$190K annually
