Location: Orlando, FL

Schedule: Full-Time, On-Site, Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: $75.000-$80.000 annually Benefits


Job Description

The Clinic Administrator serves as a key leader responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a healthcare clinic, ensuring efficient workflows, operational excellence, and a positive patient experience. This position requires strategic planning, problem-solving, and hands-on management of staff, budgets, and administrative processes. The Clinic Administrator collaborates with medical professionals, administrative teams, and senior management to maintain high-quality patient care and operational success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership & Oversight
  • Direct and supervise clinic functions, ensuring that systems, policies, and procedures are adhered to and consistently improved.
  • Align clinic operations with the organization's mission, vision, and values, promoting an inclusive and patient-centered culture.
  • Manage the selection, ordering, and inventory of medical and office supplies.
  • Ensure the clinic remains compliant with all federal, state, and internal regulatory standards.
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
  • Team Management & Development
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding of clinic employees.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that supports staff development and career growth.
  • Actively manage employee engagement, satisfaction, and alignment with clinic goals.
  • Financial Management & Budgeting
  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of quarterly budgets.
  • Monitor clinic expenses and recommend funding options and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure cost-effective delivery of high-quality healthcare services to patients.
  • Patient Experience & Community Relations
  • Lead efforts to enhance patient satisfaction through surveys and feedback assessments.
  • Provide summaries of patient feedback to the regional director, supporting continuous improvement efforts.
  • Represent the clinic at public and professional meetings, strengthening the clinic's presence in the community.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements are met, including healthcare standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinic environment to support patient care.
  • Monitor compliance and quality assurance standards to ensure ongoing improvements.


Required Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field (4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare administration experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Prior experience in Primary Care settings is highly preferred.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of clinic philosophy, operational procedures, and healthcare administration.
  • Proficiency in fiscal management and human resources practices, including staff supervision and development.
  • Understanding of government regulations and reimbursement standards.
  • Proficiency with healthcare software, reporting tools, and other computer applications.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to establish effective relationships with staff, senior management, patients, and vendors.


Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push or pull up to 100 lbs. of force.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Fine motor skills required for equipment and machinery operation.
  • Ability to drive and operate a vehicle.
  • Requires the ability to comprehend instructions both verbally and in writing.
  • Logical reasoning skills for solving simple and complex problems.
  • Occasional exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
  • Required immunizations and vaccinations.
  • Occasional travel for clinic activities, such as training or regional meetings.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with healthcare compliance and quality assurance programs.
  • Advanced understanding of healthcare regulations and policies.
