FP&A Manager

Background:
Our client, a fast-growing international retailer with a strong regional footprint and a commitment to operational excellence, has partnered with ttg Talent Solutions to identify an FP&A Manager. This role will support the financial planning function of the U.S. office while aligning closely with global finance operations headquartered on the West Coast.
Position Summary:
The FP&A Manager will be responsible for key reporting deliverables, including monthly close activities, rolling forecasts, and executive-level presentations. The role will serve as a strategic partner to finance leadership, helping to communicate financial results and insights to internal stakeholders, optimize reporting processes, and support headcount and cost planning across business units. This position offers exposure to a complex, multi-subsidiary structure and requires a strong mix of analytical precision, communication savvy, and commercial insight.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Own the development of financial reporting packages for monthly business reviews, quarterly earnings analysis, and executive briefings.
- Support rolling forecasts and annual planning cycles, including alignment of targets, timelines, and data integrity.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting automation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Manage the financial planning system for headcount tracking and workforce-related planning.
- Prepare strategic decks and presentation materials for leadership meetings.
- Contribute to ad hoc financial analyses and special projects supporting senior finance stakeholders.
- Stay current on retail and consumer trends to inform forecasting and strategic assumptions.

Associate Director of FP&A (U.S.-based)
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of analytical experience in FP&A or strategic finance roles
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial planning best practices
- Proficiency in Planning Analytics(TM1), or similar systems strongly preferred
- Experience with BI tools, dashboarding, and predictive analytics a plus
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; strong command of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to distill complex topics
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across time zones and with multi-subsidiary organizations
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing competing priorities
