What You’ll Do
- Support in the drafting and layout of plumbing systems using Revit and AutoCAD under the direction of senior designers.
- Assist with equipment selection, fixture layouts, and basic pipe sizing for cold/hot water and sanitary systems.
- Help prepare construction documents, specifications, and submission packages for permitting.
- Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure plumbing systems are properly integrated.
- Participate in site visits and support with field mark-ups, documentation, and revisions.
- Stay informed on plumbing code basics (IPC/UPC) and implement compliance into project work.
- 3 years of experience in plumbing or MEP drafting/design.
- Proficiency with Revit MEP and AutoCAD (required).
- Familiarity with residential and/or light commercial plumbing systems.
- Basic understanding of local plumbing codes and design principles.
- An associate’s degree or technical certification in drafting or mechanical systems (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills, a willingness to learn, and a collaborative mindset.
