MRI Technologist II – Diagnostic Imaging
Location: Coral Gables, FL

Description:
The MRI Technologist II will be responsible for performing a variety of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures across all patient age groups. The role is essential for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging that ensures accurate and timely diagnoses.
This professional will actively participate in the department’s continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives, prioritize patient safety and satisfaction, and ensure compliance with established radiologic and safety standards.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform MRI procedures following established protocols while ensuring patient safety and image quality.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver precise imaging results.
- Conduct patient assessments and provide clear explanations of procedures to ensure patient comfort.
- Participate in the department's CQI processes and contribute to achieving clinical excellence.
- Maintain MRI equipment and perform routine quality assurance checks.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and all regulatory compliance requirements.
- Engage in teamwork and collaboration to deliver patient-centered care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Radiologic Technology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required).
- ARRT Registered Technologist – Radiography (required).
- ARRT Registered Technologist – Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) (required).
- Minimum of 6 months preferred in an acute care setting.
- New graduates with the required certifications are welcome to apply.
- Strong commitment to patient care and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate advanced MRI equipment and troubleshoot common issues.
