Quality Detail Inspector (Second Shift)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Detail Inspector for our second shift operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise working with CFM-56 engines and must possess a Powerplant License. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations while maintaining the highest level of quality assurance in aviation maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Perform detailed inspections on CFM-56 engine components, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards.
✔ Conduct preliminary, in-process, and final inspections of engines, components, and completed maintenance work.
✔ Verify tooling and equipment usage to ensure adherence to required standards.
✔ Review and approve maintenance records for accuracy and completeness.
✔ Document inspections and findings accurately, reporting any deviations or issues to management.
✔ Perform borescope inspections, receiving inspections, and module inspections as required.
✔ Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other regulatory guidance.
✔ Work collaboratively with technicians and engineers to resolve discrepancies and improve maintenance processes.
Required Qualifications
✅ 8 years of experience working with CFM-56 engines (as a mechanic, technician, or inspector).
✅ FAA Powerplant License (Mandatory).
✅ Strong understanding of FAA Part 65 and Part 145 regulations.
✅ Experience with major repairs, alterations, and airworthiness determinations.
✅ Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical manuals and drawings in English.
✅ Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
✅ Must be able to work exclusively on the second shift – no other shift options available.
