Job Summary
A leading global provider of aircraft inventory support is seeking a Rotable Pricing Analyst to optimize revenue and pricing models for its extensive inventory. This critical role within the Purchasing Department ensures the company remains competitive in the aviation market. The Rotable Pricing Analyst will conduct market research, evaluate inventory pricing, and contribute to strategic decision-making to maximize profitability. This position reports directly to the Rotable Pricing Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily pricing activities, including market and price research for aircraft rotable parts.
- Respond to inquiries from the Sales Department and coordinate pricing for RFQs/RFPs.
- Gather and analyze market data, including obtaining phone and email quotations.
- Assess and adjust pricing strategies for aged or slow-moving inventory.
- Utilize established procedures, tools, and technologies to manage inventory pricing effectively.
- Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance pricing models.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support the Purchasing Department.
- High School Diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
- Experience with data entry and reporting in a complex inventory environment is preferred.
- Aviation industry experience is a must, particularly in rotables.
- Experience in rotable aircraft parts sales or procurement.
- Strong technical knowledge of aviation and aircraft maintenance.
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data and pricing trends.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas).
- Ability to read and interpret technical aviation documents (IPCs, SBs, ADs, EOs, Trace Docs).
- Experience with Inventory Locator Service (ILS) and familiarity with vendor sourcing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with effective time management skills.
