Location: Hialeah, FL
Type: Onsite
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM (40 hours/week, voluntary OT)
Contract Type: 3-Month Contract (Potential for extension or conversion)
Pay Rate: $13 - $16 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Shipping/Receiving Specialist to support logistics operations within a warehouse setting. This role involves hands-on tasks related to shipment processing, inventory support, and documentation, and offers a collaborative environment with structured training provided.
Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and visible damage.
• Prepare and process shipment documentation with precision.
• Package outbound materials in line with handling procedures.
• Maintain adequate levels of shipping and receiving supplies.
• Lift and move cartons up to 35 lbs regularly throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Navigate warehouse spaces without the use of machinery.
• Follow outlined protocols and collaborate with team leads to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Support key warehouse functions as directed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of prior experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced setting.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs and stay active on your feet for extended periods.
• Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
• Must supply own steel-toe footwear.
• US work authorization and local citizenship/green card required.
• Fluent in English; strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Notes:

• Training is provided on-site.
• No travel is required.
• Safety-sensitive clearance not required.
• Onsite only — no remote or hybrid options available.
