Job Description

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the design, development, and integration of both off-the-shelf and custom-built systems. This role requires a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient code that drives automation, enhances integration, and fulfills organizational objectives.

You will collaborate across IT departments and business units to ensure seamless development operations while mentoring and managing internal and external resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, technical leadership, and a passion for innovation and optimization in cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across business and IT teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals.

Oversee product design, development, and full lifecycle operations, including maintenance and post-deployment support.

Collaborate with teams across cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, and application integrations to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Lead and mentor development teams, fostering growth and ensuring adherence to best practices in DevSecOps and agile methodologies.

Automate manual processes to drive operational efficiency using appropriate tools and platforms.

Define, enforce, and improve processes, procedures, and policies for software development lifecycles.

Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and software licensing agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.

Proactively identify and resolve system issues to minimize business interruptions.

Deliver secure, stable, and scalable solutions that align with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

8 years of experience in full-stack software development.

Proficiency in :

Front-End : HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

Back-End : Python, Ruby, PHP, or equivalent programming languages.

Database Management : SQL and NoSQL databases.

Cloud Platforms : AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deployment and DevSecOps practices.

Strong understanding of operating systems, web servers, and API integrations.

Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and driving technical projects to completion.

Ability to automate workflows and operationalize software platforms for production deployment.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering scalable and efficient solutions.

Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Git, and CI / CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Developer).

Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and implementation.

Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and healthcare systems integration.
