Overview :
Our client with over 50 years in the industry and a leader in s ustainable food production, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager with extensive experience in logistics and production planning. This role will play a critical part in overseeing global distribution and logistics, managing the entire S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process across multiple locations, ensuring operational efficiency, and optimizing inventory levels to meet client demands without compromising quality or service.
The ideal candidate is a logistics and supply chain expert with a proactive approach to efficiency and operational improvement. They should bring a strong ability to drive strategic planning, streamline logistics, and maintain rigorous standards of quality and compliance. A solutions-oriented mindset and a desire to make impactful improvements in supply chain processes are essential for this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years in a similar role, with a strong track record in supply chain management, logistics, and production planning.
- Technical Knowledge : Deep understanding of S&OP processes, logistics chains, and supply planning. Experience with SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management) is required, as well as a proven ability to leverage technology to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management : Skilled at interacting with multiple stakeholders, including external clients, internal teams, and logistics providers. Adept at coordinating complex interdependencies to meet business objectives.
- Logistics Expertise : Familiarity with inter-modal logistics and inventory management. Able to design and implement strategies that streamline logistics operations, enhance coordination, and support cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Language Skills : Advanced proficiency in English is required and Spanish is a plus
- Must be able to travel at the beginning to other countries, but overall, very little travel afterward
Key Responsibilities :
Compensation : Salary up to $140K ; Benefits : Two weeks’ vacation (10 days per year). 100% subsidized benefits for the employee (30% subsidized benefits for family), 401k Plan, 8 Paid Holidays (6 Federal holidays, Good Friday, and 1 floater)
