Job Description:
- Develop automation in Python to identify characteristics, relationships, and trends on large user populations
- Develop automation in Python to filter users into groups based on the above criteria
- Use Python to make API calls to supported databases and tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
- Between 8 to 10 years of software development experience in Python and its data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.)
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Strong understanding of LDAP, SQL and relational databases
- Good understanding of Web technologies (HTTP, Apache) and familiarity with Unix/Linux
- Good understanding of Data structures, algorithms and design patterns
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization processes and tools
- Experience in financial industry preferred but not a must
- Experience working with and aggregating large data sets across multiple systems
- Agile experience preferred but not a must
- Duration: 6 month contract opportunity
- Hybrid: Three days onsite required weekly in Pittsburgh, PA
- Rate Range: $75-80/hr. W2 (based on experience)
